Sonia’s Home-style Cooking and Natural Juices was later established and commenced operations in 1985 on Windward Road as a full-service restaurant and provider of catering services specializing in Jamaican cuisine. Mrs. Sonia Thomas, who has been aptly described as the Matriarch of the Jamaican table in 2006 Gleaner article. She possesses over 30 years of experience in the Food Service industry and has developed a widely-known reputation as a service oriented caterer who prides herself in producing exceptional-tasting, authentic local dishes of the highest quality. Our restaurant is a two-time Jamaica Observer Food Awards nominee, being nominated in 2008, and again in 2010 for ‘Best Lunch Spot’. Followed by a few more for some of our various dishes. These nominations serve as testament to the quality of food and service being offered by our Restaurant.
Our restaurant is open seven days a week, with the exception of public holidays.
